Hernando Bunuan
Founder and Managing Partner
Hernando is the Founder and Managing Partner at Z2Sixty Ventures. Bringing over 25 years of experience spanning the technology and media industries, he drives the firm's strategy and guides early-stage investments, leveraging decades-long relationships to source promising founders. He has led the firm's backing of companies such as DevRev, Floto, Ion Storage Systems, Rings AI, and Gravitrex.

Prior to founding Z2Sixty, Hernando built his venture expertise across roles with Laureate Ventures, VU Venture Partners, and Adykai Ventures. This followed a robust career as a senior technology investment banker at Barclays and Needham & Company. In these roles, he represented US and European clients across multiple technology segments, advising on over $40 billion in transaction value across M&A, IPOs, and debt capital raising. Throughout his career, he has lived and worked in London, New York, and Silicon Valley before basing his operations in Atlanta.

An active leader in the global entrepreneurship community, he mentors founders through Duality (the nation's first quantum accelerator), NYU’s Endless Frontier Labs, the Atlanta Tech Village, and the Cox CleanTech Accelerator. A recognized global alumni leader for Chicago Booth , he directed the Alumni New Venture Challenge as its Founding Co-Chair, an effort for which he received the Alumni Service Award. He also holds an NACD Directorship Certification.

Zach Debelak
General Partner
Zach is a General Partner at Z2Sixty Ventures , where he serves as a dedicated operator-partner to Seed and Pre-Series A founders. Leveraging 25 years of experience as a product operator building digital platforms across the SaaS, fintech, data systems, and health tech sectors, he helps teams bridge the gap from early conviction to scalable execution. By diving into product architecture, user psychology, and go-to-market strategy, Zach ensures startups are built for impact without the wheels falling off during rapid growth.

Before joining Z2Sixty, Zach held executive product leadership roles at high-growth ventures. At Kin Insurance, he led cross-functional teams to optimize the direct-to-consumer journey, driving conversion gains of over 13%. At Evive, he managed a 55-person global team that launched award-winning health-tech platforms used by millions. He has also navigated complex growth stages and acquisitions at companies including Yello, SAVO, and Catalina Marketing. Drawing on a playbook of what "good" looks like, he has consulted for over 30 early-stage technology companies via Simply Agile, helping founders move from founder-led sales to repeatable GTM engines.

Steven Piekarczyk
General Partner

Steve is a General Partner at Z2Sixty Ventures . An exited founder, engineer, and operations executive , Steve brings deep expertise in practical AI deployments, enterprise SaaS, renewable energy, and government infrastructure. Having advised over 30 early-stage companies across these sectors , he focuses on helping founders create durable, highly scalable, human-enabled platforms from Pre-Seed to Series A+.
Prior to Z2Sixty, Steve built a formidable track record as a serial entrepreneur and technology leader. He was the Co-founder and COO of Sigma AI—where he helped lead the company to a highly successful $35M ARR exit —as well as Co-founder and CEO of Homeland AI, Co-founder of Sigma Cognition, and a founding team member of Reflect Orbital. Drawing on a decade of dedicated military leadership as a U.S. Air Force Veteran and finance experience at Deutsche Bank , Steve expertly scales high-growth operational models across global markets.
Based in San Francisco, he is a dedicated community builder within the Booth alumni network. Steve earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from the University of Illinois and his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
